will 18" rims fit on my st162 celica

wel as the title says i'm curious to know if i buy some 18 inch rims weather they'll fit onto my car with out having to do to much modding..
the car it self hasnt been lowered
i only ask as i might be getting some rims cheap (300 bucks for chromies...FULLY)
any feed back would be good

doubt it with out modifying the guards, a friend has got one with 16's on it and that rubs over bumps and stuff

if its the right offset,low profile tyres,standard ride height then perhaps u can though will scrub like crazy i think and backs will be bad, someone else on this forum did this a lil while bak to his 162 go have a look in the 162 dedicated thread and u will see him and ask him bout it.

Get the rims, and if they dont fit, sell them for three times the price.

the fit on.. i know they do and no they dont scrub noone with a 162 must have decent suspension. the guards on a 162 are huge just take it to a tyre shop and try a few sets on
