About $600-900 if you take it to them bare depending on how much stuff they need to replace inside. Gearbox bearings aren't cheap anyway.
Though it may be even cheaper to just take them the shafts. If you are at all mechanically minded it is simple to split the box and remove the two/three shafts. Rejoining the two halves of the input shaft is the only tricky part.
Actually stripping all the bearings and gears off is harder. I did it, but there was no way it was going back together once I'd finished. I think there are some special tools you need to remove various circlips, I used a hammer and screwdriver...
However a cheap 2nd hand one is cheaper still.

I did my T50 a couple of month ago with new bearings and syncros
Just bought the syncros from toyota and the took the shafts to a gearbox place and he was able to organise the bearings at alot cheaper then toyota, total exercise came in at around $500.
Alot cheaper then replacing a $2000 gearset
Ben.

i have already split the case and the only bearings that i can see that need replacing are the input shaft and the one below it on the front of the case i know they need doing as they are rusted solid but after i removed them everything turned smoothly and easily should i get my mate at noosa automatic and clutch to rebuild it or can i get away with just doing these 2 bearings (the g/box is going into a suzuki 4x4 behind a 4AGE if that helps any)

do the bearings really need replacing in these things when u pull them down? also what do synchros cost by themself? I think I might be going through quite a few of them with my short shifter

I dont think it would be necessary to the bearings but I did...
When it is apart already why not do the bearings as well? makes a smoother shift and everything tighter
