as the title says im lookin ofr an 82 model afm from a 5m motor must be in working order name a price

got one from a ma61 supre but its a 84 if thats a prob after 50 plus postage.

If both AFM's are for the 5M-E then they are most likely the exact same internals.
If the part numbers differ its probably because the bracket is different.
Only with 5M-GE's do the 82 and 84 run different AFM's

Let me guess - you've been reading US celica sites and want to fit the very early 5m AFM as an upgrade to your 22RE? IIRC it was only a particular year that was interchangeable.
Unless you have already put a hotter cam in, AND have ported the head, AND have bigger injectors, it's very probably not worth it,as there are a LOT of other things holding the 22R back before the AFM becomes a bottleneck.

haha yeah thatd be about right
i was interested in actually seeing if it did make any difference at all on a bog stock motor
was keen to try it out
it was never a must have thing though
