You have to get it to match the ECU.

You might not even need one if the car isnt running on the factory ecu.

its got a hks fconv piggy back. is that what you mean? we're going to pull it off and run it as if it was stock with a bit more boost cause of the bigger turbo. we'll run the boost controller at the lowest. i just want to get it running

Does it have larger injectors ? If it does the standard AFM and ECU wont be pretty with the air/fuel ratios

its got hks 430cc main injectors with additional pair of 380cc with a hks aic so i assume i can control the amount of fuel that goes in so i can bring that back to almost stock.

i think i'll have to start saving for a standalone ecu $$$

Ahhhh yeah with the cpntroller you will be ok

I cant understand why they would goto HKS 430cc when factory is 440cc

apparently the problem is only with the hks piggy back unit or with its wiring.

Hahahaha

Have you looked at the wiring job, if it is anything like mine was, it is 100% rubbish and would probably be quite hard to determine what the wiring issue is.
