Hi,
Did Toyota ever make a 7M - GZE??
I have a 7M GE
I know about the 7M GTE (turbo)
Did they ever give it a supercharger??
Can it be done??
Thanks

they never produced one no,
BUT
I am making one for my 1976 crown with a 7mge and a supercharger i find at the right price. Id like to pull a figure of around 350BHP...i dont think it will be a real problem, these motors seem to produce and handle power increases with ease.
Itll probly end up being an Eaton m90, but not confirmed

that long belt un-supported worries me a bit, id much prefer to see an idler bearing or tensioner towards the bottom, not up the top right next to the blower

a why bother a large GT30 will run upto 9psi easy and boost from idle, a GT35/40 will boost lower then the CT26 and supply more top end! superchargers are best left on 350 chevs in old school rods

Cause it's something a bit different to do? I'd love to see a supercharged 7M or even a 2J-GE

Are you sure a GT35/40 will boost lower than a CT26? Just curious as this sounds like the best of both worlds

well the CT26 is nearly 20 years old turbo technology has improved a good deal since then. things like ball bearings and exhaust housing dimensions make a big difference to the responsiveness.

Which is why I really need to ditch these tiny CT12's in favour of a nice newer single turbo setup

Aside from the Blown Head GAsket Problems - these Motors will Turn out some serious smooooooth HP.
CONGRATULATIONS OMN YOUR WORK!!
P.S.
Did you have to add a support pulley??
P.P.S.
Is this in an MX83 Cressida??
Cheers EVERYONE!!!!

this work isnt that of mr cruzidas, he feasts on 1UZFE v8's not 7mges!
But im not sure what blower i want to use yet. Ive heard the commodore v6 blowers can push out 15psi...so that should be able to make considerable power at a guess.
Any one heard about the potential of them?

OK but do you have some back to back dyno sheets to prove this? Theory is one thing practice is another. This is not a flame just a legitimate qeustion BTW
