Fuel Gauge Tue, 10 December 2002 01:16 Go to next message
my fuel gauge buggered up on me the other day and i have no idea how to fix it.

i was driving around a round-about and it just went dead. it flopped down and is on the side that says fuel(right side). the dial used to jump around abit before it went dead.

the car is a rt142 corona with the speedo/tacho dash.

if any one can point me in any direction it would be appreciated.
thanx

Open up the inspection plate on the top of the fuel tank and see if the float mechanism is functioning correctly.

Or just make sure that the wire is still connected to the sender unit on the fuel tank Very Happy I had this problem a few times!
