turbo resting on the firewall

guys my turbo is hitting or restesting against the firewall, and i have no idea why, i thought it was the engine mounts so i changed these to TRD ones, and it hasnt bloody moved. I have the gt35 with a custom manifold, i dont think they have warped or moved to hit the firewall, is there anything else that will make the engine move closer to the firewall that i am not thinking of? or any suggestions on what i can do to move the motor back??
better yet to make sure its not my manifold that has warpped does anyone know what the exact distance is from the middle of the inlet manifold to the rear firewall, this way i can measure mine to see if it has moved.

Does your custom manifold have any bracing?
Toyota go to extreme lengths to brace the turbo manifolds on their stock setups be it 3SGTE, 2JZGTE, etc.

What is mean is, how much clearance was there before? trying to work out how far the turbo has moved.

Sorry there would have been 1.5 - 2cm at the most clearance before hand.

i rekon the manifold has moved metal will move when it gets real hot if it is not braced and with a turbo like that sitting on top of it ... take it somewhere and get some bracing put on or brace it your self

see the thing is i spoke to mick form micks metal craft his the pone that has done all of my metal work (highly recommended) and the manifold was made of steem bends, he has told me that he has never ever had a manifold warp or bend when made like this. i belive him cause thats his job. I am going to take it to him so he can check it out but he is pretty certain that its not the manifold.
any other ideas

none of your mounts are bent/busted perhaps ?
possibly the rubber in the mounts has given up or is sagging badly ?
