Intake pipe length question Mon, 11 July 2005 07:33 Go to next message
Just a quick question. Is the length of piping between the manifold/throttle body and the AFM/airbox critical? In the 5ME the piping goes from the aitbox/AFM back and then right across the engine to the manifold. I'm planning an upgrade of the intake and it will probably involve shifting the afm around. Is there any issue with shortening/lengthening the pipe distance between the afm and the manifold?
