Just wondering how much power and torque those 4A-GTEs have? Stupid little question, thats all.

they would all be different, i would depend on what has been done to them..........
some people are getting serious hp gains by building a 4agte...

rob, i did a google search and found this formula for you try it out it might work.......
X = ST x L + AT - SP
where X is kw, ST is the thickness of the string, L is the lenght of string, AT is ambient air temp and SP is the speed travelling at the time of calculation...

on the local turbo shops dyno, my celica (4AGTE) is putting out 340hp at the wheels with the assistants from a little giggle gas!

no no, it's really easy.
the formula goes like this
let x = the length of the string
x=2y where y = the distance from the middle to the end.

Surely this isn't such a ridiculous question. Can't some of you guys with 4A-GTE's give this guy a rough figure of what he coule expect or what power your 4a-gte is making instead of playing Mr Funnyman and trying to make the dude feel stupid.

A properly set up 4A-GTE, starting with the ZE bottom end, with a good intercooler, aftermarket ECU etc, should make at least 150kW at the fly (talking low boost here), but would be more likely 150kW at the wheels with not much trouble.

I Have a friend who uses factory computer with no internal mods on gze. Think its a T28 and his gets about 160kw at the wheels
