not sure what they are called but they are the bolts that hold down the cams, what torque do they need to go to??? any help would be appreciated...

also do they have a specific order or do you just start middle and work outwards diagonally??

search "cygnus" on google, it will bring up a toyota site which has service manuals. from memory its something like 15ftlbs?

edit: make sure you have the timing pin in before you bolt them in, otherwise its a pita to tyr and fix them

Camshaft bearing caps and the torque is 14ft lbs

MA7x repair manual can be found here.

They have to be done up in a specific order, otherwise you can damage the bearing surfaces and worse case, break the actual camshaft.
