Without a doubt I would buy a Mitsubishi Starion and turn it into a monster track/drift car. I love their lines.
Other than that I'd get a Ford Escort RS2000 or a Porsche 944.

Well for the record! I can't stand Mitsubishi, but this is the exception! Its a little bit unique, and can't you see the resemblence to my Celica? Pop up lights, black strip above the bumper, fog lights in the bumper, wrap around spoiler, liftback... Plus its RWD and turbocharged!!!

I was only joking around about the starion. Not my cup of tea, but i'm sure it's a nice car. There's just other cars given the same budget I'd choose ahead of it.

S12 (hatch), AE86 and Starion all have a very similar side profile its called 80's jap styling.

the 924 you can get for probably $1200...and you'd be getting ripped off  ...its a early 80's 2 door audi with a van engine....lucky to see one still running 
the 944 is an alot better car...and still be well under the 10-15 mark

i been driving my mates vl calai around quite a bit and its sum fun.
id mayb get a calai and put an rb26det head on an rb30et block and work it. geta dark blue over silver repray, and an LE body kit. maybe a walky bonnet scoop, or a group A scoop. very nice i think. good for a few hundred rwkw too.
