4A-GE Alternators. FWD / RWD Difference?

not sure on this one? are they the same or different for each 4age?
anyone know a good place to pick one up for an AE86?
reconditioned or not.
also anyone know an 'on-site' auto electrician that can fix the wiring thats melted from the aletrnator?
im looking at you witzl!

so long as your alternator has the correct 5 rib pulley, then they are the same....
NB: 4agze alternators ARE DIFFERENT. THe external case is a mirror image of the 4age ones.
More NB: lots of dodgy fudger packers braketeer their 4ac alternators onto a 4age engine because alternator wiring is just sooooooooooooo difficult I seriously recommend NOT doing this. The internally regulated 4age alternators are gun.
I wire stuff good. you put the blue one to the black one with the tape over there and solder on the thing with yellow going fuse.
