Hi h3ff44,

It is in quite good condition body wise, only few scratches here & there and most of these can be buffed out. Interior needs an overhaul, as did the engine which I have just finished doing.

There were only 6000 made of these Corsa/Corolla II.

The car was imported from Japan by an old guy in Brisbane around 1995 I think.

Now its mine Smile

Heya MX73_drifter.

No it wasnt the one on E-bay. However I know the guy who owns it and I think he still has it for sale for $5000.

I picked it up from some wanker on the westside who had obviously flogged it to bits. The head had a crack, blown head gasket and the clutch was in many pieces. I paid $1800 (obviously got shafted there). Since then I have spent approx $2000 on it, with plans to keep going.

Anyhow its a good little daily driver (economical) plus has a bit of power and can go like a rocket when it needs to! Thanks for the interest and compliments guys Very Happy

Ahh ok, I thought you were meaning the corsa that was on a Ebay a few months ago. Well if it sold for $1600 with a cracked head i dont feel as bad...anyway, past is past & the corsa will live on!!

Yeah cruise sounds good, just lemme know when!

Im @ Kelvin Grove Inner-west Brisbane. Cheers Smile

PS Any pics of your soarer on toymods?

Cheers dude, I have plans for it Smile

Ok, here's a little history/comparison of the Corsa -

Toyota made 6000 units of the car from the years 1986-1990. It was marketed in Japan as Corolla II GP Turbo, Europe (I think) as Corsa GP Turbo & also in the U.S. as a Toyota Tercel.

The best comparison would be to a Starlet Turbo S. The Corsa GP turbo is the Starlet turbo S's bigger bro.

Starlet turbo S - Lighter & has slightly more horsepower.
Corsa GP turbo - Has more torque & is nicer to drive.

Ill post more pics up as I do the work. Next line of business is a BOV and Suspension/wheels.

Pat Smile
