do microtechs need an oxygen sensor to function correctly? its a mt-8 running an fj20, i can find the oxygen sensor but cant for the life of me find where it (if at all) it plugs into the loom.
i know that the mt-8 has an input for a oxy sensor, but is it possible the computer was setup to function without it?

Haha, yeah, useless.
Its just a display on the screen.

Only the LT12S has wideband input too, so you can't even tune with it (only the LT8 and down)

I use a Microtech LT10
it does not use an air flow metre so i would presume that oxy. sensor would not be needed...having said...i'm pretty sure its still connected

i would never ever tune a car with anyhting but a proper o2 sensor

eg motec or autronic or similar

they are worth alot

dont know how people could trust anyhting but when tuning a half descent engine
