I want to remove both the resonator and silencer, both are after the airbox. What can I use to cap the holes?

On mine, I just ripped out the stock air intake system (everything that was pissy black plastic), including one bitch of a resonator that resided behind the front bumper. Was easy to remove the rest of it (to put in a CAI), but that resonator was the worst...
Regarding capping the holes (large holes I'm guessing ), use duct tape/100mph tape for the job. Should hold fairly well... failing that, if you've got raised edges where the resonator sat before (like on my RAV), use some thick, non-porous material and a rubber band... I call it "jam-jarring". Never done it before, but it should work well.
