Going to be changing valve stem seals tommorow, can anybody tell me what the sequence is for taking the cams out? (bolt sequence)
And what the torque settings are for putting them back in?
I plan on changing the valve stem seals without removing the head as i just recenlty put a new HG in with new headbolts and wouldn't want to disturb it. (doing for a friend, no mechanic seems to want to do this job).
A scan out of the manual would be even better (and would even pay for that!)
Any tips would be great too! like what method to use for keeping the valves up? compressed air? i've heard rope down the spark plug hole is another method.

dude i got no idea how to do it but i can probably scan the manual for you.... my local libary has it so i just borrow it for free when ever i need it (beats paying 40 bucks for it)
my suggestion is try libary first but if you need i can scan it for you

That's pretty handy nut, My library has a few old corolla/camry/corona manuals and that's it lol.
I just need to know the torque settings for putting the cams back in and the torque settings for the cam gears.
(would need this tommorow, will put $5 into your account for doing it)
I found the bolt sequence.
