mate has a custom 1J turbo setup for sale
it is two GTR roller bearing turbos with all the custom mainfolds
twin dump pipes and all the intake piping and cooler piping to make it fit standard position oh and it allso has half the exhaust (down to the cat)in stainless attached.
he is asking 1700 for it a
i also have a standard t/turbo steup for a 1J with all the stuff
asking 500

Are GTR turbos ceramic or steel ?

 Dont you need an aftermarket ecu for this? wish i had the dosh to back it up coz id be really keen on this.

Are those GTR turbos still for sale?
What haul ass car did they come out of?
If they aren't sold yet they will be.
I am in melbourne but will be in sydney in mid jan to pick them up.
If you are willing to hold onto them until then.

Do you have photos of the gtr turbos setup you can send me.
I wonder if it is possible to trick the standard computer into running these things.

im in cronulla. and i should have pics by the end of the week.
you prolly could get them, to run fine with the standard ecu but as soon as you went over 15 psi it would start to crap out. and if you were only running 15 you wouldnt bother spending the extra cash for a custom setup.

15psi is fine by me for now.
I might be wrong but wouldnt 2 x t28s flow alot more air at 15psi than the small 2 x ct12as?
I heard that the stock gtr turbos are good for about 300rwkw???
I plan to run an after market computer sometime, so if I have the turbos etc I can do it that way. Kind of cart before the horse but thats fine with me.
