JZX90 Chasers rock!

Was coming home from Marlows today, when I see this funky looking sedan sitting at the lights as I went by. Saw the back, thought hey, thats pretty nice. They I saw the front and recognised it as a JZX90 Chaser, complete with its Toyota badge. Very nice looking car, this VR Commonwhore pulled up next to it and was sitting there drooling at it next to him!

Hey,
Yeah I love my JZX90 Mark2.
I get so many people ask what it is as it only has the toyota badge on the rear.
I have put it on 18's and a dumps back exhaust and a trust fmic kit.
Stock it pulled 209 rwhp and it is going on the dyno tomorrow morning.
Love them though

I put it on the dyno today and with a fmic and exhaust (still stock dumps)and stock boost and afr's I made 255rwhp.
Not bad i thought - cant wait to get the safc and sitc on there and give it a tune then add some boost.
Just need some dumps now!!!!

shootout mode is the mode they do all the dyno comps in i beleive
to get an "accurate" reading for ur cars power level it needs to be done in the gear that best represents 100-140 km/h
im just asking to see if it was done in shootout.. then how comparable it is to my car

Hey,
Yeah it was done in shoot out mode. They did it in third gear in the auto as well so my graph starts at about 110km/h and hits 180.
Boost is still stock as is dumps ect so hoping to see more in the next fre weeks with some tuning.
Looking for 300+ rwhp but you never know.
My dumps wont be here for about 4 weeks so it sill get tuned without them to start.
man am I loving this car

Thats a bit of difference there
Hmmm I will see what happens with 1 bar and afr's close to 12.
I am looking for 300 with this as boost is now only on 10.5psi

my AFR was 12:1 on full power though which would probably even the power difference
my IC is just one from mercury motorsport

i dont know why my AFR is so good on full power
should be woe ful
running auto ecu with manual box
fuel pump is 280litre/hour
and they are just good for some reason

I am going to put mine up this afternoon if possible just to compare.
I have been told that by leaning it out to close to 12:1 i will get another 30rwhp. I am not sure about that but hey its worth a go

the numbers seem about right to me.
Gothesr has a better exhaust I would assume and both have bigger intercooler but Johal's is a manual.

sweet.. cant wait to see it
the reason id say id be making more power, as chris said is mines manual, so less drivetrain loss
and my AFR's are better
if both of those were to match you would probably make a little better due to exhaust.
ill get mine dynoed again in a few days with 13 psi and my boost controller

fix the AFR and you should be level with mine
are u sure ur running std boost? cause with a bigger, less restrictive exhaust you should be running more

Well there is no boost controler in there.
The first run that I did when the car was stock it was on 10 psi and that run it made 10.5psi.
Not sure what is going on there as it should have increased it

boost cut is like 14.7 psi
they probably screwed up measuring or something
mine was on 11 when i did it im retty sure
running 13 now
mines off a soarer
so should be no difference
