OK people, chasing an accelerator cable for the JZA61...
As far as I know it can be from a JZA70, JZX81, JZX91, JZZ30, JZS147 Aristo ...something with a 1jz-gte or 2jzgte should do the trick...

Check your local yellow pages , there are usually 2 or three listings for companies that make them up, only costs $20- $40 for new one. If you only need inner, real cheap.

I've got a contact here in Perth that makes cables up to my spec, if you get stuck? Alternatively, let me know the length you need and I'll check my spare accel cables in the shed?!

Steve from Maltech http://www.maltech.com.au/ makes up new conventional and braided automotive and industrial cables.
He also happens to own a 1JZGTE Soarer, so is quite familiar with 1JZ specifics.

Not sure on lenght!
It needs to be 50-100mm longer than the stock cable at a guess, which is about 1200mm from my rough measurements!
It'd be great if someone could measure a 1JZ cable for me
If it's not going to be out of my price range it would be great if you could have a look CLG

whats wrong with a piece of wire out the window?? 
MX62 cable may work - they got decent length. compare to your MX62. that what i got on my RA40

Negatory, MA61 MX62 are about the same...too short...

Try a motorbike shop/mechanic. I got a new inner made for my 1J Cressida, abut $40.
