5 speed 77 Corolla conversion

I have a 77 Corolla with a standard 3k-c motor and standard 4spd. The box has just broken and I would like to put a 5spd in it. I know that there were some 5spds put in these cars from the factory but I don't know if they used the same motor.
What 5spd box easily fits in these cars? could I use a T50?

a K50 gearbox should do it, u can find them in some KE55's and KE70's except for panel vans had them
both cars had K motors and the box will bolt up.

Will I have to change the clutch, flywheel, tailshaft or crossmember for this conversion?

KE55 has the correct shifter position, KE70 has shifter further back, and also has different rear crossmember mounting method.
you can easily swap a KE55 extension housing onto KE70 box tho.
nope, if you use a KE55 5 speed, or a KE70 5 speed with KE55 5spd extension housing, you will not need to change anything if you are going form a 4 speed. going from an auto there are sometimes driveshaft and cross-member issues (thanks to the traumatic 3 speed)
T50 will need diferent bellhousing, clutch, flywheel, and rear cross-member, and possibly hydraulic clutch pedal...
maybe you could use driveshaft if it is the smaller spline T50 output shaft
