18RGU throttle setup

can anybody show me how to setup a throttle linkage on an 18RGU destined for my RT104, not too sure how the acuation of the link on the balljoint is suposed to go.

I have a mechanical (as opposed to a cable) setup from an RA23. It might fit and i'm not that far away, often got to brisbane and I have a friend going down there shortly.
