I was hoping someone here on this forum can help me out. I'm looking for an '84 Toyota Starlet 1.3 (4ke) fuel injected cylinder head to include vavles, valve springs and rocker arms. I bought this car with a missing head which is all I lack to get it back on the road. I want to keep the car intact with its original engine. I would really appreciate anyones help selling this part to me if you have one or locating this part for me to purchase. Thanks in advance.
I can be contacted here on the forum or by email: tulsaturbo@cox.net

Nah scott, 4ke head has a smal combustion chamber compared to the 4k, has dished pistons to compensate, called a heron combustion chamber same as a 5k. You could always use a 4k head or a 3k bigport and put flattop pistons in. Try some of the new zealand forums, they are nuts on those little starlets theere.
Cheers Sean

not all 4KE hav dished pistons tho so it may still be a normal head..
easiest option (and better anyway) is to use ACL flat top 4K pistons with either 3K or 4K head...
unless you really want teh dish...

I think I heard somewhere that some KE heads also had the extra plumbing back into the exhaust port for getting rid of extra pollution causing gasses, may be this is relevant to what you need also, and stock 3K and 4K heads lack these couplings,
Just a thought guy's, your best bet in my opinion would be a 5K Head at least you can plug the pollution ports with threaded plugs if they are not needed, and being in the states they got all the pollution gear sent to them because they need it over there. he he
