Ok the new rotors i ordered are in and i'll be replacing them on the weekend as well as pads. Whilst i have everything off the car i was thinking of painting the calipers.
Anyones reccomendations on which brand of high tempreture paint i should use, would be appreciated.

I got some 2 part caliper lacquer to do mine, but it was about 70 bucks & these days there's some really high temp spray paints that would do the job. You'd have a bigger range of colours too.
What colour are you thinking?

I was thinking of Black and the embossed "CELICA" writing in White.
Ive seen a few different ones in the spray paint was trying to guage as to which ones were crap and not to use.

Oh c'mon, paint 'em red! That would look sweet behind the big white wheels.
Actually white would look pretty good too, but you'd have a bloody hard time keeping them clean! Although I guess you have enough trouble with the wheels, it wouldn't be much harder to clean the calipers while you're at it. They should be pretty easy to get to.
I'd try VHT (I think that's the brand), they make heaps of different car sprays.

yeah VHT is that brand that makes a multitude of different type of AUTOMOTIVE paints, including brake caliper paint. I would also be rather interested in how well they work since i am considering doing the same thing with my RA28 when i get out of the interior ..... that's a while still...

I just want you to know that I searched for this thread and the answer was here!
naw, but I just bought some GT4 calipers off Juzzo and need to paint them b4 they go on. I was thinking Red, but my brother told me then I would be trying to look like a Porsche, so why don't I paint them gold instead, like Brembo brakes.
What do you think? Gold paint may be hard to come by.

VHT Nu Cast. Makes em look like nice new cast iron. This is a header paint so may do the temperature range of your calipers Gary
