all are soo good, and futurama & family guy are good too...

just good.

um..

Lionel Hutz: Well, he's kind of had it in for me ever since I accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly," and replace "dog" with "son."

Chief Wiggum: This is Papa Bear. Put out an APB for a male suspect, driving a... car of some sort, heading in the direction of, uh, you know, that place that sells chili. Suspect is hatless. Repeat, hatless.

ill never be able to pic a favourite episode Razz

My other alltime favourite is the one where Frank Grimes (Grimey) gets so aggravated by Homer's laidback approach to life and resposibilities... I think that the voice of Frank Grimes is Ed Norton.

At Grimey's funeral Homer falls asleep and says, "Change the channel Marge" while he's slumped in a chair sleeping. The epitomy of Homer. Laughing

This episode (called "Selma's choice"):
"Duff Gardens! Hurrah!"
"I'd like to be alone with the sandwich."
"One more foot and I can fit it in he fridge!"
"But I love solids!"
"Homercles cares not for beans!"
"Oh no! I'm not a doctor...."
"Duff Beer for me, Duff beer for you, I'll have a Duff, you have one too!"
"I am the Lizard Queen!!"
It has the greatest number of brilliant quotes. It also has Bart seeing the world thru beer goggles.

Worst episode ever is playing tonight - "Simpsons go to Australia".

and I'd also like to add the Chilli cookoff episode. it's not all good, but the first half cranks like banana sandwiches (ba na na na na na na, to quote the muppet's swedish chef)

For me the most out there episode is when Homer's mum comes back to see him. The ending is bizarre - Homer sits on the car and ponders for what must be hours, well into the night.

I also think the episode where Homer gives up his dream job at the bowling alley because he gets Marge pregnant with Maggie is right up there. I particularly love his impersonation of sperm in that episode.

I couldn't pick a favourite episode. But there have also been some great quotes. One that springs to mind:
"You don't make friends with salad! You don't make friends with salad!"
That had me laughing for ages.

the episode where he goes to work for hank scorpio at the globex corporation

and the tomacco episode

they are both good

the james bond scene in the hank scorpio episode especially

bond: so do you expect me to talk?
scorpio: No, i expect you to die, and to have a very cheap funeral. You're gonna die now!

or when he's talking to the UN

english guy: Oh No! The 59th street bridge!
indian: maybe it just collapsed on its own.
english guy: we can't take that chance.
indian: you always say that! I WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE!

scorpio: collapsed on its own... you... pfft.

I am a huge Simpsons and Futurama fan and I can't say that 1 episode stands out more than all the rest. There are memorable episodes and great episodes, but not 1 greatest.

Homer - "yeah, wadda ya want?"
Marge - "My husband by my side!"
Homer - "You want fries with that?"

Homer - "Thats it........Somehow!"

Lisa - "If you're the police, the who will police, the police?"
Homer - "I don't know.....costguard?"

Oooh oooh, I just remembered another favourite of mine... The episode where Homer engineers a cross breed crop called Tomacco. It's a cross between tomatoes and tobacco... Tastes like shit but is really addictive.

The Simpsons were living on a farm in that episode... whenever Homer went near the tractor is tipped over on him. It cracked me up everytime. Laughing

Wiggum: Put out an APB on a Uosdwis R. Dewoh. Uh, better start with Greektown.
Friday: That's "Homer J. Simpson", Chief. You're reading it upside down.
Wiggum: Uh, cancel that APB. But, uh, bring back some of them, uh, gyros.
Friday: Uh, Chief? You're talking into your wallet.

Bart: b-6
Homer: you sunk my scrabbleship!
Lisa: this game makes no sense.
Homer: tell that to the good men who just lost their lives... SEMPER-FI!

Kent Brockman: Scientists say they're also less attractive physically and while we speak in a well-educated manner, they tend to use low-brow expressions like 'oh yeah?' and 'com'ere a minute.'
Homer: Oh yeah? They think they're better than us, huh? Bart! Com'ere a minute.

"You don't snuggle with Max Power, you just hang on and feel the gees"

Homer - "There are 3 ways of doing things, the right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way"
Lisa - "In't that just the wrong way"
Homer - "Yeah, but, faster"

I say this at work heaps, which is probably a problem if your workplace is ICU. Laughing

I think the episode is called "The right stuff".

It's the one where homer becomes an astronaut. He tries to bash another astronaut with the "inanimate carbon rod".

Homer: I'll bash you good!!

Also the episode where Homer decides he wants to become disabled so he can work from home so he becomes "A Big Fat Dynamo!!!"

Not necessarily my faves but both pretty funny.

lisa: "dad, you killed the zombie flanders!"
homer: "flanders was a zombie?"

and my all time favourite:

homer: "You know what's great about you English? Octopussy. Man, I must've seen that movie... twice!"
