I have one of the units that u connect your sound to and your neons and they go to the beat. Now the rca cables have two wires in each cable (one on the outside and one in the centre). I only have two holes on the curcuit board. WHich wires would go into those two holes. Any help would be appreciated

either way should work. you might end up reversing the polarities, but thats ok.

So I only use one rca cable and use the two wires off it (which doesnt seem to be working) or do I use both cables and in each cable mix the 2 wires together?

the outer wire in the RCA cable is basicaly the - output signal and the inner wire the + output signal. in an audio situation you dont want to mix them up as reversing the polarity does effect the sound of your system.
i've never used a neon set-up that beats with the music, did it come with any diagrams?

Yea everything seems ok but they wont go to the beat, they are just steady. COnsidering I only have 2 input holes I used the + off one rca and a - off the other, this sound right?

by the sounds of how it must get it's signal, i would only wire 1 rca lead to it. joining the 2 rca's together could fry the output chip in the head unit.

i dunno exactly, it must work off the voltage pulse or something the head unit puts out through the RCA lead. been too long since i've done this sort of thing theory wise.

as i said above, you would find that would fry the output chip in your head unit. that would be like crossing all the speaker output wires from your head unit together.
