1 pce tailshaft for T18???

I've got a T18 with a locked diff, the two piece tailshaft shudders alot when you do a burnout. I tried a TA22 tailshaft but it's too long and has a different yoke on the end. I'm wondering if anyone knows if KE series corolla tailshaft will fit straight in? Or any other options without having to modify the tailshaft?

dont do burnouts heheh
seriously though, i have no shuddering in my car during the cource of a burnout
but i dont have a locked diff...

are you sure its the tailshaft and not axle tramp? Mine axle tramps with a locked diff when doing a burnout before staging at the drags, but not with an open diff.

This is in fact my cousins car, but I've driven it and experienced the problem. Could well be axle tramp, but it sounds like it's coming from the transmission tunnel, right where the centre tailshaft bearing sits.
