4AG-E zero power 3000-4000rpm...wtf???

Ok this is really peeing me off now, it has been less noticable, but recently it has become really bad!
There is normal power from idle(600rpm) all the way to 3000rpm, once it gets past 3000rpm it just slows down,the revs keep climbing,slowly,but there is no acceleration, it is just like when you change gears and there is no force but I am accelerating?
It stays like this until TVIS opens and then it boots again!
Can anyone suggest what the hell is happening with my car?
Is it the clutch slipping? It does the exact same thing in every gear!
Engine is an AE82 Bluetop Bigport,swapped into a Sprinter about 3 months ago

My 3sgte does this too, really bad. its not really noticable in 1st gear though.
I've been thinking, is it the timing being pulled? , a clutch issue??
