Just wondering the the standard RA28 Diff can hold up when hooked to a 1g-gte?

When I did my 1GGTE conversion into the 28 the first standard diff lasted a whole of 2 months... The second one lasted 2 years. Lucky maybe... but they can hold up to the power quite fine as long as you treat them nicely.
As for spinning one wheel constantly, that depends on how heavy your foot is. The open centre rarley broke out on me with 160+ rwkw...

Maybe I do Maybe you drive like my mum... all back of the bus and shit 
As I said depends on how heavy your foot is and how often you feel like changing centres out 
The reality of it all is if you want to flog the crap out of it do the Hilux conversion or something similar.

What are the final gear for these diffs??
Are they the same final gear as a TA22?

There's a wide range of ratios depending which Hilux you grab it out of. Believe it or not there has been more than one model of Hilux made since the early 70's.
