i hope the pure coolant is a premix!

also, have you checked thermostat? flushed the cooling system?

checked for blockages in the cooling system?

it is premix coolent, and it doesn't overheat all the time only when it is being driven for a while and will a bad water pump do that cause i know it is not the thermostat cause it is brand new

Bad water pump, blocked radiator, dodgy fan... all possible.

does it overheat just like when stopped in traffic, or if you're going along the freeway will it just climb up in temp then drop down, then climb up again etc etc??

my mates sv21 used to overheat. Turned out to be a blocked radiator.

Whoever mentioned not running 100% coolant...it makes no difference on the condition of your motor? all my cars run 100% coolant (or close enough to) and ive never had a problem!

Yeah but it's not as efficient as coolant which is a proper premix of coolant and water

ok, was the radiator and or motor ever drained and left drained for any length of time?has the thermosat been changed?it dosnt just over heat when you sitting there spinning the wheels with very low speeds?{dont laugh it has happened many a time with people that dont know you need airflow}.have you had the engine flushed?how many k's on the engine?do you have spotlights?are you running the standard computer or aftermarket?{lean burn etc}.
