Hahaha, what a rip off. A wrecker once told me that "The 2JZ-GTE is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it!", and apparently, there are some souls out there who are willing to pay insane amounts!
Coincidentially, John from Rolling Auto Imports in QLD sourced me my 97 VVT-i 2JZ-GTE with a 6-speed manual (looks absolutely spotless too!), the ECU and loom for less than half of what that guy wants! I can understand that 2JZ-GTEs are pricey, but 15G is just insanity!

Ahh humble, so you are the guy that brought it!  Was counting out some money in my wallet and rang them up to find it was sold. Bastard!
But yes, people ask too much for the 2JZ with manual. That guy that want 15k.. joke.

Go the 7m!!!! $1450 i could buy 10 of them and still have change.
And enough spare headgaskets to put in ppl's throats who hassle the mighty 7m! Mwwwwaaaaa mmmmmmoooooowwwwwwwwaaaaaaaahaaahhaaaahaaaaaaa!
I could even use the head gaskets as friskby missiles and lauch them at track competitors in my wake!
God these drugs are good!!!
