Well if it's either the FWD or 4WD variant i'd say you are going to have a tough time geting it to work.

At the moment the 3uz is only available in the lexus SC, GS and ls 430 here but none of these use 4wd drivetrain.

In the states the Tundra's got 2uzfe's and are 4x4's so you would need to aquire a gearbox from one of those puppies if you want to run 4x4, as im sure there isn't much here.

However, if your rx300 is FWD, i don't think there are any FWD option gearboxs.

3uzfe is best suited for RWD Very Happy

And pricing? probably $10K plus.

Its the RX330 (unless you have older model), and its basically an AWD Camry.

3UZ aint gonna fit in there without MAJOR work.

Ive got an RX300(back in Malaysia) and I havent seen any here in Australia...Its a 4wd...Any other thoughts about other engine apart from the original that could fit in this car?Or should i still keep the 3UZ-FE option in mind?

Its a FWD 4WD dude.
No 3UZ is gonna fit in there without SERIOUS $$$

Quickest upgrade would be to swap the 1MZ-FE for a VVTi 3MZ-FE

Or get the MZ TRD Supercharger.
Not sure if it clears everything in RHD vehicles though, as its made for the US market.

Anything can be done with an open check book dude.

But I don't know if the RX300 engine bay is big enough for the 3UZ, and how long the diffs/gearbox will handle 50% extra torque.

I don't know of ANY UZ motors running in a FWD setup yet.

So no, it hasn't been done, and nothing similar.
