yup was in carsales. went and had a look and it was super clean and well looked after, so i quickly snapped her up.

its an after market sunroof which was initially of concern, but seems to be done pretty professionally (have seen some mighty dodgy after market ones in my time)

thanks guys Smile

i agree, i would have preferred it without the sunroof, but if scrutineers are happy with it for competition, i might as well just leave it there. i'm not really interested in spending money on making it look better.

the only mod i intend to do is replace the standard computer with a custom built one that my friend has built from scratch, hardware & software. he has a prototype running on his turbo starion, and i have been helping him program the pc interface to it Smile

definatley. in fact i had to pull a fair bit of ricey crap off it when i got it. it still has a useless 2nd oil presure guage which i am getting rid of once we hook up the original one.

yeah... bit of an overkill on th earth connectors... it has 2 to the engine and 3 to the bodywork Confused going to take some off so iys only 1 to engine and 1 to bodywork

well 2 points here,

the original oil pressure gauge is half-assed at best, so youll want a decent aftermarket gauge set

and the more earth points the better with an EFI car of this age. so id keep the lines, but maybe clean the routing up a little

like mine:

cool, point taken with the earths Smile

oil presure guage still not too sure about because when it idles, its very noisey, as in signal noisey. not sure if its the guage or the sensor yet.

hmmm sounds like the sensor is on its way out, that or the wiring is corroded somewhat..

Get a mechanical one if you are worried about dodgy senders.

The in dash one can be a bit dodge. I treat it like an oil light. If it's reading something then it has pressure (dont take much notice of how much) if its out then there is no pressure and Im screwed, or the sender has fallen off which has happened before *cue brown pants moment*.
