Does anyone know if the 1ggte A340e torque converters are the same and interchangeable with the 7mge a340e?

if its any help, I know a 1G converter will fit a 1J

you may find they have different stall speeds?

I'd ring or visit a few trans places and try and get some firsthand info Smile

The answer is no. Never change a pump to accomodate a different converter as you may end up with some shift problems. Get the right converter for it. I think you will fond the throat is about 5 mm to long and it wont go all the way in.

I should have worded it a bit better. I know a 1G converter will bolt to a 1J flex plate
