Hi,
Can someone tell me if the bolt pattern on a 1j flywheel is the same on a 2jzge??, I have a 1j in my boat and I'm thinking about puttin a 2jzge in my other boat

Also what info is available for the 2j?, like wiring info, mod's etc, etc, what about putting a 1ggze supercharger on it to up the perfomance a little!... has anyone done this??( they put them on Holden V6's to get a mild increase), just wanta try something else!

Thanks in advance

Dave

Talk to gianttomato on the forums Smile He's got one radical NA 2JZ. If you want, I think I could possibly help you with the wiring, depending on which car the motor came out of.

Cheers

The bolt pattern is the same, but the flywheels will be different. The 1JZGTE runs a R154, whilst the 2JZGE runs a W58.

Putting a 1GGZE blower is certainly doable, but the std CR is 10:1, so you would most likely have to fit a decompression plate. The 1GGZE blower would probably also be a little too small for the job. I believe Swift Racing do a blower kit for them at great expense. In the US, most guys are turbocharging them, with great results. There otherwise is relatively little out there.

I have pinouts for the std Supra 2JZGE ECU, so whenever you want them PM me.
Cheers Dave

Properly tuned and intercooled there isn't a reason you couldn't run a S/C with the 10:1 compression. There is a turbocharged S2000 in Perth using standard compression and those things have like 11.5:1 compression!
