4AGZE stuttering problem

Well I finally got my gze running in my ae92 corolla a few days back, and it has driven fantasticly the past few days. Tonight however, out of nowhere, the car started stuttering when you'd give it any reasonable amount of gas. If you give it about 1/3 to 1/2 throttle, the engine will do this, and won't stop hesitating until you let off the gas. Tomorrow I'm going to check the plugs, timing, grounds etc, but any ideas what else to check/what it could be? My boss had a similar occurance in his 1.8t Audi A4, and it was the coil packs that were bad.... Hopefully not the case for me....

check the earth connection on the ignitor!!!

yeah earth or maybee the dizy bolts have come loose and its retarding/advancing at will which happened to me....
