Hey guys
I tried searching on this forum, but I had no luck.
Would anyone know where the fuel pump relay is on the JDM AE86?
I have just done a conversion on my car, I am up to running the fuel pump wire now.... and thats ALL I need !!.
So anyone can give me a pointer where the fuel pump relay is, or which one it is?

Let me get this right , you are finishing a conversion and you haven't seen the relay yet ? Did you put the wiring in from a halfcut or something ? You have lost me .
But the JDM ae86 with rear wheel drive loom , fuel pump { open circuit relay } Fuel pump relay should be located on a small metal tag with you press it off , just above the ecu on the left hand passenger side . Remove the speaker cover and glove box and shine a touch or light up there . It the five pin relay , black in color with open circuit relay written on it .
If its missing search the forum for "open circuit relay" there will be a thread with the wiring of this from the ecu and ignition to the wiring of the fuel pump . Also the tech docs , or the clubpoorag site might have the wiring diagrams .

you haven't done a conversion until it runs, mine has been on the road now for about 6 months, and i still wouldnt call it finished.
you dont really need a circuit opening relay, i'm not using one, neither is a friend of mine who did a 4AGE conversion to his sprinter.
we just ran relays off the fuel pump output of the ECU, the fuel pump doesnt turn on until the engine is turning over, but this doesnt cause any problems.
if you were keen you could parrallel wire an opening relay of your own using two relays quite simply.
after you have wired the fuel pump, good luck, that is when my problems started.

You got that rightm basically, I have swapped the whole harness over with a Front cut, but running a small port 4AGE.
I have done this conversion before, but it was running the 4AC harness.
And it was running an external fuel pump.
But this time, I have run a in tank pump off an AW11.....
So now, I am just searching for the factory fuel pump relay off the JDM harness and wire it up.
Thanks for the input Improvedae86.
I think I have worked out which one it is now...
And shinybluesteel, what problem did you run into ??
Thanks guys

i had to build my engine loom out of bits, as i bought the engine as a smallport running a bigport computer.
one of my injectors was dead, then one of my injector plugs was dead (injector may be fine then i guess)
just little things, i'm still hunting down all the sensors i dont have.

what sort of sensors are you missing now?
I might have some lying around.
