just a non toyota related question. I am thinking about supercharging my holden kingswood wagon, it just my daily hack, but does get used for towing. Just wanted to ask if i can use this charger with a suck thru style setup?. Bear in mind your dealing with a dumb arse hear so just explain your self.

what he means is, the SC12 is a PD blower, each revolution it provides 1.2L of air. it can only turn to around 14000rpm.
work out how much air your motor needs and see if the SC12 can provide that... if not, don't bother..
SC14 would be better suited to start with..

SC14 is still too small unless you want to overdrive it to the shithouse! A pair of CT12's would work nicely if you can fit it all in there... would take a bit of work though.

The idea isn't necessarily completely a dead one - people use SC14s on Buick V6's (CRS do a kit for it), and give them a bit of a kick in the guts, so I can't see that a 202, with the cylinder head that might as well be welded shut, is going to swallow far too much air. My first suggestion - burn the 202! My next suggestion - give it a go. I'd suggest you do a couple of things first:
1. Make sure your 202 is as healthy as a 202 can possibly be
2. Hows your exhaust? The standard manifold and exhaust system is ROTTEN, ditch this stuff first and be surprised at the difference. In fact, I might be a little bit wild here, and suggest you grab an 'EFI' 202 with the enormous inlet runners (the whole engine, electrics, etc.) and slot that in, with a decent exhaust and a bit bigger cam. You'll probably find it easier, cheaper, and probably do what you want. If not? Supercharge that instead! You should be able to pick one up in good order for a few hundred $, and may even be able to sell off your old motor to some poor sap.
3. Make sure your ignition is up to it - forget points. Pinch an electronic dizzy from an EFI VK (carb'd ones used EST), and get it altered a little to suit its new job.
It shouldn't be too hard to do if you're any good at making bits'n'pieces, and show us some pics if you decide to have a go.

I was speaking to a guy (who most likely frequents here) on the weekend and he had used a CRS SC14 kit on his VP (maybe VR?) and said it was great down low, but choked the top end.
As said, work out how much air an SC12 or 14 can blow, then work out how much air you engine needs. If the SC wont push enough just use two instead.

an Eaton M90 will do a better job and was factory installed for the brick V6 too.. may only be good for a few psi anyway but...
i agree with Mr Shin, get an EFI 202, and turbo it, maybe just 5 or 6psi... will make a massive difference and possibly easier to set up than an SC anyhoo...
or get forged pistons and a sprintex SC
