hey guys, recently did head gasket on 7m-gte (surprise surprise) car is running again all is good but between 5 and 10 psi the car really seems to die in the arse.. after 10 psi it runs great but in that little period it feels laggy as fuck.. it feels like its geting too much fuel, (same sort of feeling if you have a hole in intercooler hose)

any ideas or suggestions would be great. cheers

I once changed my inlet/exhaust gasket on my 5k and coz i used too much silicone, when i did the bolts up it squeezed it all together and somewhat blocked the ports. yes i could notice the difference. it was a slug. had to try again.

give the ignition timing a check with a reliable timing light and ull also have to bridge 2 diagnosis wires to drop the idle. i had the same thing on my corolla (well it doesnt have a turbo but you know what i mean) and it used to lag bad with big flat spots then it would pick up again. i then knocked timing forward a little and it was a significant improvement.
