Decoding the stereo of a 1999 Rav4?

Guys,
Need help with a locked radio in my Rav4. Just bought it and I had no idea that there was a 9 limit on the security system for the radio. Now I am driving around with no sound talking to myself. Please help me?
The display on the radio says "help"

Read the manual, or call Toyota.
Somewhere there it should tell you want to do.

I have checked the manual, thats how I found out that there is a 9 limit. And I went past it and locked it
Toyota can do it but they r charging 100 bucks for 3 digit code
not worth it I think and thats y I am desperate for help.
Can I resort to other methods b4 I got to toyota? That is teh more precise question. Thanks for your thought tho.

YEah cool thanks.
I only one problem, the stereo has been locked out cos I tried too many times. Do anyone know the sequence buttons to press to overwrite the lock in order to put the code?

Try Google. I found the generic unlock codes for my old Mazda MX6 factory stereo on there. After already forking out $60 to get them to reset it grrr

Dude, you could try posting this topic in the RAV4OZ forums, someone might know there...
