just get an e-tag. the RTA has a cashback scheme for private users u get approx 95% of all of your tolls back.

this is only for the m4 and i think m5 not the m2, x city tunnel, or m7. this will only happen when the tolls have paid back the money then they do the refund.

Indeed. I understand they use the reason "to provide $ to keep them maintained", umm, hello, 99% of your roads are shit compared to ours, INCLUDING the ones you have to pay for!

Fugger $0.50 to go from the end of the M2 to Old windsor rd.
That is crap.
Over the whole trip the toll would be worth it in fuel saving (with the yay fuel prices are going) but 50 cents for a 1km bugger....

Actually, given that the Mitchell and Kwinana freeways run the length of the city and are practically the roads most people use for longer journeys, I'd say they do get used just as much.
