can they fit ?
anyone got a set of 17's on the twincam ? how does it go, rub much ? wears tyres quicker? too big for the old twinky

ive seen 17's on an ae82 but why bother 16's is as big as id ever go 17's are just overkill

They will probably rub - especially if you still have the original (sagging) suspension.
16's are big enough, but if you want to run 17's plan to get your guards rolled.

Yep,
Seen plenty with 17s but its too big IMO.
No probs fitting them but what is of more importance is the tyre selection and width and offset of the wheels
If you keep the same over all all dimeter of the tyres and the car is not stupidly lowered etc and you do all the measurements go for your life !!
All the clearances will be very tight, i assume you are going for a 7 inch or maybe 6.5 inch rim width and something like a 205 what 35 or 40 ?????
the offset will have to put the rim right up to the strut and you are still prob need some lip and maybe inner gaurd mods
Do the maths first before you get anything

17s fit fine, lip the guards and make sure there 17x7s. i had a set on my last ae82, never bothered me at all even with a full car. but they did slow the car down a touch.
