Off-the-shelf rims with the correct PCD and offset are extremely rare these days. Don't expect to walk into your average wheel/tyre shop and find anything suitable.
You can always fork out for a set of Simmons though, they'll make them to any specifications you desire.

Convert the plick to 5 stud and you'll have an easier time finding wheels to fit.

Indeedy it will make life easier if you go 5 stud. X? to EL Falcon rims are perfect !! Or you can get lucky with some import rims (mainly 5 stud, but sometimes 4 stud)
Heres some from the 5 stud club !!! (Rays 3 piece 17x8")

What sort of clearance do you have at the front with those? Do you think a set of 9" rims would fit on the front?

mine are 17x8 front, 17x9 rear.
Note my +18 offset at the front is purely due to the skyline brakes , otherwise they would be +10. I also have less dish, due to the clearance required by said brakes. you could even go less offset at the rear - -10 would even fit from what I can see, but you're going to be compromising handling there.

| You may, but not with those offsets and not with the MS65 hubs.
The 17x8" +6 Gladiators (with the RA60 struts fitted, JUST fit into the guards at the top.
9" would be too wide for the front anyway.

Just looking for rims to use after my 5 stud upgrade that I was telling you about and used JDM Skyline GTR rims have a good offset but are all 9" or wider. Oh well the search continues.

Quite often the offsets for skylines can be wrong as well.
Email ImportBitz and see if he can find something for you.
Ebay is also pretty good.

5 stud conversion with MS65/MS123 hubs needs +10 to +0 offset.
Nothing in the +40 range will work.

A lot of Skyline rims are +25 (like mine). This works fine on the back, and will work on the front with a 10-15mm spacer. Not that I recommend using a spacer.

I'm planning 17x7 +35 all round.
Couple this with the 8mm offset of Skyline discs, and I have +27 all around.
Which is perfectly legal (5.5" steelies had +27 offset) in WA
Not sure if handling is gonna be affected too much though.

|
The Simmons 16x8" B45's that I originally had were +25mm and with 225/50 tyres, they cleared the strut tubes by about 8 - 10mm.
So they will work, but are close.

Does this mean you're doing a rear brake upgrade too, or do you really mean +27 fronts +35 rears?

Rear brake upgrade.
Hoping to do 297+2spots, so I have Nissan brakes all round (easier to upgrade later).
If not I'll do the same as Ed.

Hmmm.... let me know if you sort it out & end up getting an adaptor kit made - I'd be happy to fork over some money for one of your brake upgrade adaptor kits again
