Your current diff is leaking lots of oil? Something that a degrease won't fix? hehe

ABC oxley had 3 mx73's as of last weekend, they also had a RT142 which may have a 3.58 ratio (which I want to check, but can't afford to get it if it does.. Crying or Very Sad).

Otherwise I have a 4.3? F series spare you could borrow for a short time if your really desperate?

Cheers
Wilbo

Oh awesome, I'll go check out ABC. I need something so it'll pass a RWC so I can register it, which is why I'm not worried about getting an LSD or ratios or what ever, I figured MX73 would be plentiful and cheap.

The insides of the dif make aweful noises, and they wont RWC me without fixing it, so yeah, needs a solution. Haven't opened it up to check, I'll do that when I swap it over.

AFAIK all MX73 stuff is identical to MA61.

Banana's in the diff is supposed to make it quieter too.

Between IRS F series? I haven't heard of this in the past?
(your saying MA61 != MX73 != MZ10/11/12 != RT142) ?

clint is right, cos ms123 crowns also have a different housing and the driveshafts are NOT interchangeable.
from memory an rt142 is different also.

I think I may have installed an RT142 diff in my cressida a few years back.
It was before I knew anything so I can't say for sure, but the diff cover wasn't finned, it was flat.

But it fit fine, was just the wrong ratio.

Interesting the one I saw at the wreckers the other day had a finned diff cover...

Hmmm, well.
It was an IRS F-series.
100% bolt in.
And I'm 90% sure there was no finned cover.

I'd be highly surprised if
A) the soarer was any different to the supra
B) the shitty wreckers I went to had any soarer parts
