Hi you guys!
I am looking for some input on the famous Hilux durability with regards to Toyota's claim of being UNBREAKABLE!
It would be great, if you could share your experience with your Hilux - e.g. how long has it been running without any major problems (km/years)? What parts cause problems after a while?
Looking forward to your replies!
Cheers

Have owned a number of hiaces an hiluxes ( they share a lot more parts than people realise, and basically all have been reliable and solid. Best I got was 1,000,022 k ot of an rh20 hiace worst was 490,000 k from a yn60 series hi lux.
Basically depends on how you treat them but definetly better put together than most of its competition, and always has better resale value in the trade.

400000km in an 18R RN41 and still going strong.
520000km in a 12R RN40 before we sent it to Simsmetal.
