I saw the car the other day in St Marys. It looks like the time i ate too many smarties and spewed my hole up!!!!!! It might look good close up but from a distance it looks like a lolly spew!! Perhaps if you dropped the price a bit you may get some people interested. (or painted the whole thing yellow!! )
My car is a show car and has mega horsepower and i would be lucky to get $16000 for it! You wont get $10000, its just a paintjob.
Thats my opinion anyway. And ive seen it in person not just pics.

Good job i say - and anyway - if you can get 10K for the GTI - good on ya - means more funds toward the supra or the MR2
As for owning shitboxes on here - Nods to a lot of folk owning standard models - but there are some serious machines on here that would make those words quite unacceptable ..
Just ON GTI's - they might not be a MR2 - or whatever but they still are a very good budget handling package .. Ive driven one and i was pretty impressed for a FWD - and i actually Loathe FWD's. Sort of like a TX3 with less poke ( which ive also driven)
At least his car is a True GTi - not a proper ricer swift - ie a mum and dad special with all the crap on it .. Now that would be worth flaming - literally

it's his car! it's not my style either... but thats no reason to rag on it....
if you look at this from the outside, no one in the real world can tell the difference between his car and yours... they are all looked at as modified vehicles by the general public.
every time something goes wrong with cars people point the finger at ALL of us no matter what the style of modifications. if you constantly fight amongst yourselves then we have no hope off getting anywhere.
