1G Gte water to air intercooler

I have seen a few dodgy pic of 1G's that look like they have a stock water to air cooler on them, but like i said the pic was dodgy as so it was hard to tell. can any one tell me if a water to air cooler ever came out on a 1G and if so what gen was it and are they any good.

Yep. 1st Gen 1G-GTE (you didn't read the tech articles did you).
Autospeed tested a bunch of OEM intercoolers and it stacked up very well.

one of these would bolt preety much strait on to a gen 3 wouldnt it.
Ok how much power are thay good for?

Yup. Fits on the gen 3. You need to swap rocker covers too.

why do you need to change the rocker covers? coz the oil filler is at thefront on the gen 1??

Davies Craig Electric Booster Pump (or EBP for short).
I tried to set it up to come on only when there was boost, but I got lazy, so I just run it full time...

Well, it affects the life of the pump.
I've had one die on me after two years of daily use, but I'm not sure about the circumstances. It came loose, which I believe is the reason for the failure.

An oil cooler core. It's pretty small, but I didn't want great volumes of water in the system.
