Waste gate actuator problems

I have just had a single turbo conversion done on my 1jz and it was happily building .88 bar of boost at full throttle. But now , it appears the waste gate is jammed shut as it is building 1.33 bar at full throttle at about 3750 rpm. Very annoying because I don't want to max out on my injectors and cause a lean mixture. Anyone know what can cause this sudden jamming?

Check the hose to your wastegate diaphragm, it may be loose/leaking.

First thing I checked, even swapped it over.

the diaphram in the actuator has probably burst. Most good turbo shops sell the actuators as off the shelf spares (GCG is a good place), so i would just replace it.
