KE15 suspention/handbrake/brakes Sun, 15 December 2002 09:32 Go to next message
Hey

im setting up my Ke15 with a 2tg for autocross and i was wondering if
someone could help me with a few things:

1. Handbrake? - what options do i have, the cable is stretched and is useless (as was the one that was on my old ke10) i have a TE72 for parts if anything good can be salvaged from that (parts car for my road car POS T-18 Razz)

2. Suspention - i want to replace the suspention with GAS shockers, and i need new springs as the old ones were cut to shit, makes for a crappy ride on the dirt with the front end going everywhere.. know any prices to do all 4 corners? as well as new springs to match for the front end.. as far as i kno KYB and K-mac make them..

3. Brakes - are the KE20 rotors biger? the front disks are right down so they will have to be replaced soon, i have the brakes from the T-18 but they are a different stud pattern damit, really just after a cheap updrade possibly just ke20 rotors if they are bigger

Thanks for that in advance Smile

Thanks, Phill

For the handbrake, see if you can get ahold of a hydraulic handbrake kit

With springs and shocks, should be able to buy stuff from any of the suspension peoples

As for brakes, well, you might have to do a bit of machining and swapping of parts, probably change the stud pattern Shocked
