OK people, I'm gonna head out on Friday night August 19th, 2005 to show TheStitt the Perth nightlife and crusing locations, so will cordially invite any other willing participants also. As I'm not keen to leave my car unattended in a carpark, the only real stops in this crusie will be to regroup - dependant on how many people show up and run. I've Chosen Hamburger Hill as a start and finish location, cos just as a car needs fuel, so do people - so the opportunity is there. I was planning on taking the following route:
1: Meet up at Hamburger Hill, Burswood, at 7pm.
2: Travel via the Farmer Freeway, for a few laps of Northbridge.
3: Jump onto Hay Street, West of the Mall and into Subiaco for a lap around the beautiful people.
4: Onto Claremont for yet another lap around the beautiful people there.
5: Past the OB and Cott Beach Hotels, and into Freo for some serious doof, greasy hair, and ethnic mix crusing!
6: Exiting Freo for a river run along the south side till Alfred Cove, then up Canning Hwy and onto the Kwinana Fwy.
7: Exit at Mill Point Road for a quick lap around the beautiful people in South Perth and along the river, returning to Hamburger Hill.
Hopefully those of you with cameras (both motion and still) will bring them along for a few shots and footage?! I'd hope to spend a bit of time in the larger spots so people can get out of the cars and get some shots outside the cars too. So who's up for a run?
