Its actually 1 of 3 halfcuts that my bro owns, He owns a workshop and built up a 450kw atw Supra, and thought he would get spares, but the engine has since got rebuilt so, so Hence the sale of these Excess engines, and yes the gearbox is from this engine.

the mounts arent the same, but i believe that the 2JZ mounts will fit on the 1J crossmember. Not really sure mate.

what i am planning to do is that i try to put 2JZ engine into my ute 2001 model. because right now it has V6 engine on it. so just wondering between 2JZ and LS1 V8 will have potential... and best suit my car.

thx man

hi, i have an ra23 with the usual 18rg, yamaha head, 45mm solex's, i looked into turboing this engine but its much more trouble than its worth, i originally come from canberra (now in adelaide) and know of a guy (friend of a friend sorta thing) who had a 2jz twin turbo in his ra23. has anyone else heard of this before? highly interested in buying if it will fit

cheers craig

i think that the 2JZ slots straight into 1JZA70, the only difference being that the 2JZ sits 30mm higher.

of course, this is what ive read, so it could be wrong.
